Stepan Maslennikov headed the retail direction of the Orient Group

Orient Group announces the appointment of Stepan Maslennikov as Interim Executive Director of the Makro supermarket chain. The area of ​​responsibility of the top manager also includes Home Market and Profit Store. In this position, he will replace Roman Saifulin, who decided to continue his career outside the Orient group of companies.

The largest asset within the Retail business of the Orient Group is the Makro supermarket chain. One of the undisputed market leaders, this network has been operating since 2010, with over 100 stores in all regions of Uzbekistan and employing thousands of people.

Stepan Maslennikov is an expert with international experience in the areas of organizational change, strategic and project management, business development and investment. Prior to joining the Orient Group team, Stepan went through the integration of the Tyumen Oil Company and British Petroleum businesses. He was involved in the implementation of the transformation program for the largest oil company in Kazakhstan, KazMunayGas. He led the strategic changes in the business of large private companies and financial and industrial holdings. Since 2020 - Director of the Transformation Department of Orient Group Management, responsible for the formation and implementation of the holding's strategy.
